Manager of Emergency Response and Security

Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support business operations and ensuring an asset high degree of emergency response and crisis management readiness while identifying security risk and developing strategies to mitigate those risks. The position will also ensure asset compliance with corporate security, fraud and crisis management policies.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other officials in order to prepare and analyze damage assessments following disasters and emergencies
Conduct surveys to determine the types of emergency related needs that will need to be addressed and disaster planning or provide technical support to others while conducting such surveys
Coordinate disaster response, or crisis management activities such as ordering evacuations, opening public shelters and implementing special needs plans and programs
Design and administer emergency/disaster preparedness training courses that teach people how to effectively respond to major emergencies and disasters
Develop and maintain liaisons with municipalities, country departments and similar entities. In order to facilitate plan development, response effort ordination and exchanges of personnel and equipment
Asset security risk assessments
Developing and managing risk mitigation strategies
Asset compliance with corporate security, fraud and crisis management policies

Competencies/Abilities
Experienced in the above listed position responsibilities
A recognized professional within his/her area of expertise and have substantial experience in crisis management and emergency response in oil and gas sectors
Have a strong knowledge in security matters
Military or law enforcement/investigative experience is desirable
Must be a graduate of the University or military Academy
Must be knowledgeable of industry best practices and have a wide network of professional contacts
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must speak Portuguese and English fluently
