Security Manager , Thailand

Primary Duties :
Set out standard security policies, procedures, guidelines, goals and directions for all operations in Thailand.
Maintain a keen insight into the local security situation and affairs and update senior management and corporate on all significant developments and changing situations.
Establish a common framework for security compliance and measurements. In the process, also help roll-out and develop a security culture and mindset within the operation groups.
Support new facilities and customer accounts’ implementation in terms of site security, security recommendations and solutions related to warehousing and forwarding, etc.
Work closely with Singapore Corporate Security Department to promote security as a competitive advantage by enhancing and developing security solutions with respect to the retention of existing and acquisition of new businesses.
Conduct regular site audits and inspections at every facility and formulate a common platform for benchmarking and networking. Ensure strict compliance and to highlight/address any issues of irregularities or non-compliance that may be against the interest of the facility/operations/company.
Carry out regular update and review of guard procedures, local operations requirements and arrangements for different customer accounts, etc at various sites.
Follow up on any security enhancement projects – progress and developments that may require regular supervision, monitoring and tracking.
Carry out traditional security matters including loss investigations and prevention of company and customer assets; including coordination with airline, ocean and trucking partners on cargo security and theft.
Conduct and promote security awareness trainings and security-related best practices.
Hold discussion and meetings with security vendors and contractors on security system repairs, maintenance, additions, upgrades and enhancements (for both hardware and software). Liaise with them on system evaluation trials, testing and observation, frequent trouble-shooting and problem resolution.
Work with HR and/or Ops on induction programs, security orientation training, and any policy matters that involve security, whenever possible or required.
Pursue and ensure successful security certification/ compliance (eg. TAPA, C-TPAT, etc.), if and when necessary.
Develop and manage ongoing risk assessments and evaluations of YCH Thailand facilities. Assessments will measure compliance for internal security policies, contractual requirements and government regulations.

Qualifications:
Male/Female age between 35 - 45
Bachelor Degree or above in Law, Political Science, Public Administration or equivalent
Atleast 5 years in Security management level
Good command in English
Excellent communication skill
Computer skill
Available for flexible working hour and on sites
