Job Description:
We are currently seeking applications from suitably experienced individuals for the role of Firearms Instructor. Reporting to the Eastern Region Security Manager, you will be required to conduct firearms training in accordance with NSW State legislation and Armaguard procedures.
Key accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:
1. Manage all areas associated to firearms and training within the Eastern Region
2. Conduct site risk assessments
3. Assist with security investigations
4. Assist with other security support functions undertaken by Armaguard Security
Key certifications and attributes required for the role are:
1. 1A, 1F and 2D Security Licence from the NSW Police
2. NSW Firearms 'H' Licence and Accreditation
3. Certificate IV in Operational Safety Training- Firearms Instructor
4. Demonstrated analytical skills to undertake a variety of roles including investigations and site assessments
5. Strong communication skills to provide detailed written reports on security matters
6. Excellent interpersonal skills
7. Instructional or training experience with firearms
