Job SummaryTo ensure security of Oxfam staff, premises (office/team houses) and other belongings of Oxfam round the clock.
Duties and Resposibilities• Keep close coordination with base staff for in-out timings of expat staff
• Be informed of the arrival of expat staff
• Escort to be side with expat staff when travelling any where or when required
• Make sure the way is not block by traffic and expat can move in or out of vehicle, as well as enter and exit of the compound
• Listen to local radio stations and be informed of any security incidents in city
• Make sure the place an Expat is visiting, is not threatened and safe to be visited
• Check with Guards on persons visiting to OX Novib guesthouse or office
• Report security incidents to Manager and advise as per situations to avoid any incidents
• Support with letters dispatch, photocopying, printing, and act as a messenger.
QualificationSKILLS AND COMPETENCE: (E) = Essential (D) = Desirable
• Education minimum grade 12 pass. E
• Able to follow set procedures and instructions. E
• Demonstrates the ability to work within a team. E
• Organised and efficient. E
• Strong sense of personal responsibility. E
• Good hearing and sight plus good health. E
• Good communication skills. Fluency in local languages is essential. A fluent skill in English is an advantage. E
• Computer D
• Able to work under pressure and flexible timeframe. E
