AT/Force Protection Specialist

The Mission Support Business Unit currently has an opening for an Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Specialist.

Job description:
Serves as the subject matter expert relating to Antiterrorism (AT) issues. Interprets AT policies, directives and instructions. Develops, coordinates and updates plans, instructions and Operational Orders in support of customer AT programs. Reviews site plans for compliance and consistency in application. Develops, coordinates, staffs and implements customer Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU). Develops, establishes and supports emergency and contingency plans to protect customer population assets in heightened levels of threat conditions. Participates and coordinates the development and execution of training and exercises to validate program plans and procedures. Conducts Vulnerability Assessments (VA) of facilities using localized and establishes AT checklists. Coordinates and participates in Threat Working Groups (TWG), AT Working Groups (ATWG) meetings. Manages and conducts AT Level I awareness training. Prepares impact statements, briefings, training lesson plans and other forms of correspondence.

Qualifications
Education: Desired, Bachelor’s Degree and 5 yrs experience in related field. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered.

Required Skills: At least 5 years related security experience with at least 3 years experience in AT, including experience at headquarters level, or equivalent, planning and implementing AT programs. Ability to communicate, both orally and written, effectively, basic working or functional knowledge of computer office suites. Must have attended a formal, DoD approved, AT Level II course, attended formal vulnerability assessment training, security engineering course, and training on a risk assessment methodology. This work regularly requires lifting, frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
