Essential Functions/Duties:
•Perform the day-to-day protective security functions as specified in daily post and detail orders
•Carries and operates weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from the detail leader or shift leader
•Guard security site against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, illegal entry, exit, and unlawful attacks
•Patrol premises to ensure that the site is properly secured
•Verification and identification of employees and other persons entering the site. Inspect and properly store equipment
•Develop incident reports of attacks, damage, theft, or unusual occurrences. Investigate disturbances and in the event of an emergency maintain order and safety of the occupants of the site
•Adheres to established SOPs, protocols, and maintains their weapons/equipment in a high operational state
•Understands and acknowledges the chain of command
•Act in accordance with EODT’s Ethics Program
Requirements
•Minimum 25 years of age.
•4 years experience in providing security services.
•Shall be an FVEY Expatriate with NATO Secret Clearance.
•Able to don all required personal protective gear.
•Possess a Military/Police background or have equivalent training. If military, must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214. Personnel who have been discharged with a characterization of “General under other than honorable”, “Bad Conduct”, or “Dishonorable” are disqualified from this position.
•Must be qualified on primary U.S military weapon e.g. M9 Beretta (9mm), M16 or M4 (5.56mm).
•Perform unarmed ―Screener duties by searching visitors, their vehicles, and their belongings.
•Must be proficient at utilizing a hand-held metal detectors, walk-through metal detectors, and high throughput personnel inspection systems (Rapid Scan).
•Able to perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow
