We are seeking a self-starting Liaison Officer to support our transportation and logistics contract at a large base in Afghanistan. This position will support our Tactical Operations Center in Kabul and Report Directly to our Regional Manager. The Liaison Officer will perform quality assurance audits of trucks and drivers while ensuring our operations are being conducted in accordance with our policies and procedures. Specific Duties and Responsibilities of Liaison Officer include, but are not limited to, the following:
Required Skills/Experience:
Microsoft Office
Currently have or previously had a Common Access Card (CAC)
Completed NACI background check for badging purposes
Ability to work with local nationals on a daily basis
Ability to articulate operations in meetings
If prior service requires honorable discharge
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of trucking industry

- Ensure all In-Transit Visibility devices actively ping via communication with the Tactical Operation Center.
- Issue drivers Mission Sheets and In-Transit Visibility devices
- Maintain updated list of assets, which are approved by the United States Government (USG) for use on the contract.
- Meet with the Contracting Officer Representative as necessary or directed by the Regional Manager or Operations Manager.
- Make sure all trucks entering yard are authorized on the USG approved Asset List.
- Ensure truck registration paper work is authentic, current and matches Asset List.
- Check truck driver Taskara’s to ensure it is original copy, and matches driver’s physical description.
- Verify TMR Mission Sheet lists driver’s full name and correct Taskara number.
- Conduct vehicle QA/QC verification.
- Prior to departure, ensure drivers understand and acknowledge the Driver Instruction Document.
- Explain the importance of adhering to the Driver Instruction Document to all drivers.
- Verbally convey the seriousness of violating the Driver Instruction Document.
- Verification of customer upload and download.
- Verify signatures and contact information on mission sheets.
- Run down issues and solve problems with mission sheets as needed.
