Cargo Security Manager-CAR0003Z
Description
The position will be responsible for maintaining the Qatar Airways and QAS Cargo Security Manuals as well as any amendments, maintaining Cargo Company Security Standards and Procedures, preparing Security Bulletins and ensuring compliance from all personnel as it relates to cargo security day to day operations. The position will also be required from time to time to conduct investigations and prepare investigation reports into various forms of conduct and behavior as it relates to Cargo operations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Measure threats and risks; Improve and circulate policies dealing with threats and risk; Inform the department on the implementation of counter-measures; Monitor the quality of the security measures applied to the entire Cargo and Mail Services Department; Analyze and scrutinize unlawful activities, unprofessional conducts and non-conformances; The primary and focal point of contact in QAS Cargo for any government security agencies, airport police, customs immigration authorities' concerns; Prepare policies and instructions on the protection of company information and classified property, ensuring adherence to set minimum security standards.
Essentially you will have education in general business, security or similar/relevant areas, investigation qualification. Police, Military Police or general military operations experience. Aviation security experience. Previous investigation experience in either a law enforcement or corporate security environment. Sound working knowledge of MS Office applications. Good working knowledge of general security operations requirements. Understanding of airline operations and their security requirements. Well developed writing skills
