Manager - Electronic Security System
Responsibilities:
Customer
Gather and analyze security requirements, coordinate technical/installation action plans and solutions to customers in accordance with all relevant standards.
Ensure the expenses of agreed scopes of work / projects are in line with department’s budgeting, capital plan and projects.
Monitor the progress of technical support or maintenance services on Electronic Security System (ESS) to customers upon projects completion.
Ensures all customer queries are resolved efficiently and effectively by the team with the guidelines and procedures for customer satisfaction and service. Implement quality and customer satisfaction metrics for monitoring purpose.
Procedures
Streamline or strategies, the ESS/Technical Unit for improvements (process, quality, cost savings) with prior acknowledgement from ESS Director.
Prepare work/annual leave schedules and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation such as workplace health and safety.
Assess maintenance plans and process audit plans, provide recommendations and agree on final proposal to be carried out. Work closely with Project Manager and Technical Team to further develop and enhance their troubleshooting skills.
Work alongside Contracts and Procurement to ensure the department fulfills its obligations. Plan and co-ordinate technical activities with external contractors and vendors.
Manpower
Handle the manpower requirements especially on recruitment, training and development of technical team (Technicians and Engineers), and delivery of business initiatives across team.
Enhance the performance/productivity of direct reports through periodic performance reviews and development plans. Ensuring that they adhered to the incident response listed in SLA.
Administrative
Manage the spare parts inventory and optimize in accordance to the service operation’s requirements.
Prepare and analyses monthly forecast/reports on complex data associated with performance to drives improvement actions across the business.
Perform other duties as required by the superior from time to time.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' comprehensive experience in similar industry/field with 2 years' in managerial capacity.
Posses basic knowledge in Electronic Security System and Legislation in building codes, fire safety and country standards.
Posses sound understanding of customer service, preventative maintenance, and condition monitoring and information systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word).
Ability to formulate and execute policies to facilitate the effectiveness of the procedures.
Strong resources planning skills, communication skills, leadership, and problem solving skills. Able to be team player and work independently.
