Responsible for scheduling, support speaker coordination, conduct and post-course analysis of Arms Control courses.
In particular:
• Combined CFE Arms Control Verification/Inspector Course.
• Open Skies Orientation Course.
• Arms Control Implementation Orientation
Course.
• Arms Control DPA Assistants Course.
• Conventional Arms Control Information
Exchange Course.
• Vienna Document Compliance and Verification Course.
• Small Arms and Light Weapons Course.
• Coordinates with ACT and other NATO staffs in order to maintain currency of the NATO School Arms Control curriculum. This includes liaison with different national Arms Control Agencies and OSCE as necessary.
• Develops lectures and course material dealing with aspects of Conventional Arms Control in Europe and Confidence Security Building Measures.
• Provides other briefings as assigned by Director Academics.
• Represents the NATO School at international conferences, symposiums,and working groups.
• Serves as a member of the Mobile Education Training Team (METT) as required for non-resident instruction of selected nations and organizations.
Qualifications:-
• Ideally he/she should possess good knowledge and experience of Arms Control issues.
• Rank - OF-4 (US equivalent LTC or higher)
• Security Clearance - NATO SECRET
• Language - English SLP 4343 (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing)
