QA/QC Manager (Afghanistan)

SUMMARY: The QA/QC Manager will be
responsible to manage the American K-9
Detection Services (AMK9 ) Quality Assurance
(QA) and Quality Control (QC) Program for the
GSA Theater-Wide Afghanistan Contracted
Working Dog (CWD) Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Afghanistan based Regional Project Management Team (PMO) in effectively implementing the AMK9 QA/QC Program; Implement the AMK9 QA/QC plan IAW GSAWTW- PL-4904.1 .
Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspections of the FOBs.
Review all Canine Utilization records and
ensure proper utilization and training. Ensures employee awareness and monitors compliance with all applicable company directives, policies,and procedures. Provides specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques,quality training, statistical methods, audits,
quality tools for problem solving and
assessment. Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met.
Makes recommendations for corrective action.
Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for program execution. Participates in the development of functional strategies.
Ability to create, to maintain, and prepare records and reports.
Able to perform tasks with minimal oversight. Possess strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
Must be able to multi-task.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has minimal supervisory responsibilities at the Program Level, however may have some supervision over contract workers on assigned contract as the Country Managers Designee on assigned tasks.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Prior MWD Managers experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred in related
field or relevant military or law enforcement
experience. Must be third party trained (e .g.
Prior Military training or Municipal Government-Sponsored Course) International experience preferred in operations and training management. Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (word, power point, excel, projects, outlook),Valiant, SharePoint, and database systems.

United States citizen and able to deploy
oversees. Able to obtain a DOD/NATO secret
level security clearance. Valid driver's license
