Maritime Security Consultant

SRS is expanding its business within the maritime sector and aims to recruit consultants for continuous deployments with a shipping client operating routes crossing the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea.

Main Responsibilities / Deliverables:
As a SRS Maritime consultant you will be responsible for risk management advisory, security preparations and management on board our client's vessels. You will be working in a team and you are
expected to deliver to the highest level of industry standards. Your main responsibilities include:
 Conduct a high quality pre-departure risk assessment and security plan.
 Manage the implementation of physical security infrastructure on board.
 Deliver training in security routines and anti-piracy tactics for the crew on board.
 Liaison with external support elements.
 Respond to security incidents at sea and manage crisis situations on board.
 Up-date client and SRS HQ on work progress and situational developments.
 Always uphold SRS core values and code of conduct.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
 A minimum of six (6) month work-experience in anti-piracy and maritime security.
 Holder of Seaman's card and Discharge book.
 Solid and relevant military background.
 Detail-oriented and excellent work-ethics (e.g. hard-working, proven ability to work under stress).
 Good client-facing and people management skills.
 Basic knowledge and user skills in MS-Office.
 Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
