Your overall responsibility is to ensure the Hotel meets its statutory Health & Safety obligations, by ensuring all necessary process and procedures are documented and implemented. You will also provide security assistance in the hotel ensuring compliance with statutory provisions and providing a safe and secure environment for all staff and guests. Key focus areas are to assist in the provision of security measures in the hotel, investigate and accurately record all occurrences of security interest, liaising with key VIPs as necessary and carrying out formal health and safety inspections/risk assessments and training as appropriate. This diverse role works primarily during business hours, however this will change as per the needs of the business. You will be a professional, customer focused individual with a personal demeanour that wins and influences. Experience of working in, or with the police or armed forces would be advantageous and a NEBOSH certificate is essential.
