Erinys is currently delivering a range of security and support
services to commercial clients throughout Central Africa. We have
a requirement for an experienced Security Project Manager to lead
and coordinate a full team of local staff to secure a mining
exploration site and offices in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Position
Erinys Security Project Manager, DRC
Task
Lead and coordinate a full team of local staff to secure mining
company exploration site and offices.
Manage a Local Guard Force (60 staffs) and a small dog unit
Manage supervisors, radio operators, inspectors and security
agents Liaise with the operations department to organize logistical
support and staff rotationConduct spot checks during mobile
patrols Interface with the Client about daily incidents/accidents
Report to the corporate security manager and internal operations
manager (daily) Set up and control SOPs on site Check duty roster
and daily attendance Control and implement quality security
standards Control the implementation of the Client HSE policyLiaise
with the Finance and Administration department to update
personal files Control the implementation of the company internal
rules and discipline Check the implementation of disciplinary
sanctions Correspondence and filing
Qualifications
ExpatriateBackground in managing local guard forces and liaising
with local authoritiesFluent in French and EnglishIT literate (Word,
Excel etc)Central Africa experienceExperience of working in the
extractive industries
Remuneration
Accommodation, transport, insurance, medical support and
communications provided in country 9 weeks in/ 3 weeks out,
return international flights provided Industry competitive salary to
be agreed in line with relevant experience
