Security Liaison Team Planner - Afghanistan

Vacancy Overview
Olive Group are recruiting for a security services contract that will
be awarded in December 2011 in Afghanistan, we are looking to
secure individuals who are interested in committing to a position
within these timelines
Purpose of the role
Plan and coordinate the Security Liaison Team Coordination Cell
operations
Your main responsibilties will be
Administrative oversight of SLT task execution in support of the
AED reconstruction objectives
Effective employment of SLTs
Quality control of SLT services
Planning of movements up to 30 days out
Coordination of movements with US and Coalition Forces
Provision of emergency response, tracking and reporting of
current operational movements, and command and control (C2)
of SLTs in support of strategic level tasks
Ability to function independently in the field offices to support
SLTs or other field security forces
Maintain a SLTCC member on duty at all times while the SLTs are
conducting missions outside the wire
As Senior Management Team Member you will execute the
responsibilities in accordance with the lawful and ethical
standards as referenced in the Olive Group Code of Conduct and
Ethics
To be sucessful in this role you will need
Previous experience on large security service organizations from
geographically separate locations working with virtual teams to
deliver successful projects on time whilst meeting and exceeding
expectations
Experience in the US Forces
Demonstrated experience performing at the tactical level of
warfare concerned with the planning and executing mission
objectives with a minimum of 3+ years in Afghanistan
Understanding of key business issues and a track record in
overcoming these issues
3+ years in Iraq or Afghanistan (longevity in Afghanistan
preferred)
Ability to function effectively in a high risk, fast-paced, deadline
driven environment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
across Olive Group and our client base
Possess the knowledge and experience in dealing with the
Security Industry
Determination to succeed whilst remaining professionally
accessible
Strong business development, management, planning,
negotiating, communication and leadership skills
Dynamic personality, well-organised, flexible and results-
oriented
A proven ability to manage effectively in a culturally diverse
organisation and market
Must be willing and able to travel to Afghanistan and other post-
conflict, developing, and transitioning countries
Must be US Citizen who possess US Secret Clearance
