The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking
qualified Nepali Nationals for the following position based in
Damak.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
? Bachelors Degree is required. Historical knowledge of Nepali
geopolitical factions in the Terai area is recommended.
? A high level of computer literacy is a required (Windows XP, MS
Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Earth, Basic
Programming).
? The position requires one to project a confident, professional
image and appropriate interpersonal communication, negotiation,
presentation and training skills. Ability to work under difficult
physical conditions and in a stressful environment is a necessity.
? Sound knowledge of VHF, HF, and Radio Room Communication
Procedures is required. Communication systems programming,
force protection and security technology installation is highly
desired.
? Dedication to assigned responsibilities, pro-active/creative
thinking, flexibility and the aptitude to work in team oriented
structures are important attributes.
? Four years experience working in security management, law
enforcement or military disciplines is a prerequisite, preferably
with international experience.
? Good verbal and written English language skills.
