Description
Senior Noncommissioned Officer (E8/E9), Army preferred, with
strong operational and training background and knowledge of the
Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). Applicant must
possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the abilityto respond to
direct, telephonic, and electronic (email) in a concise manner. Job
requires: a DoD Secret clearance, mastery of computer & the
internet, knowledge of Mission Essential Task List (METL), the
Universal Joint Task List, & Microsoft Office application suite.
Successful applicant must be able to brief flag officers, coordinate
across staff directorates, schedule and conduct training, and
evaluate the quality of command DRRS readiness assessments.
DRRS certification is a plus.
Perform the duties of a Defense Readiness Specialist for the
Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) assisting with
command monthly readiness reporting. Responsible for
conducting training and briefings on DRRS Web-based aplication
and conducting training on METL-based readiness reporting for
assigned command.
