Hambastagi Consulting Group (HCG) is an Afghan consultancy firm established in 2010 by a group of highly dedicated and experienced experts with many years of experience with international public administration (donors, UN agencies and non-governmental organizations), Afghan government, civil society and private sector. HCG is a limited company registered with Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) incorporated in the city of Kabul. HCG has its main office in Wazir Akbar Khan, Kabul.
HCG is currently looking for a Senior National Researcher in its Security Sector with expertise in Law Enforcement and Rule of Law, Police including Civilian and Community Policing, Private Security Companies.
Duties:
1) Help managing and supervising all the work of the Research Assistants and Field Researchers 2) With the help of the Senior International Researcher, design of methodologies, frameworks and formats of all research
components related to security sector 3) Help training of Staff including Research Assistants and Field Researchers 1) Ensuring quality of data collection, analysis and reporting writing due to the donors 2) Feedback on the staff reports, ensure quality and refinement of data, analyses and recommendations 3) Help training of the Field Researchers and staff in the security sector research
Qualifications: • Post-graduate degree or higher from an international institution • At least three years of experience of research in Afghanistan • Experience of Research in the field of Law Enforcement and Rule of Law • Fluent in written and spoken English, Dari or Pushtoo
