Position Summary
Serves as the operational element of an EOD Unit.
Position Responsibilities
•Operates and maintains unit equipment
•Performs access and render safe procedures at the direction of Master or Senior EOD Technician
•Prepares lessons plans and presents briefings and classes on explosive safety and handling procedures, appropriate responses to UXO incidents and general IED safety and awareness, to Chief of Mission and other contractor personnel
•Reconnoiter and classify UXO
•Move and/or consolidate UXO that have been determined acceptable for movement within a specified Area of Responsibility (AOR)
