Job Description: The Counternarcotics Advisors will be expected to: 1. Liaison with Counternarcotics Advisory Teams (CNAT), ISAF, and USMIL Public Information/Information Operations Officers regionally based. a. Independently identify and assess political motivation. b. Identify opportunities for assistance. c. Assist with the formulation and implementation of policies/programs at the regional level. 2. Ensure open lines of communication between NAS-Kabul, U.S./ISAF military, the GOA, and other international partners on counternarcotics programs. a. Acquire a good knowledge and understanding of activity under all 8 pillars of the Afghan counternarcotics effort. b. Assist with the formulation and implementation of policies/programs at the local and regional level. 3.
