Responsibilities
1. Ensures the security of casino customers, staff, and assets by observing, investigating, and reporting.
2. Using audio and video equipment in the Surveillance Room, observes casino operations for irregular activities, and monitors compliance to rules, regulations and laws. Utilizes knowledge of the gaming activity and company policies and procedures.
3. Completes investigations on coin theft, injury claims, altercations, and small disputes etc.
4. Gathers and submits required intelligence for detailed reporting. Administers required paperwork.
5. Maintains the Surveillance Room equipment and databases.
6. Functions as a communications liaison and dispatcher.
7. Assists the Surveillance Supervisor, as directed.
Requirements • Experience using surveillance equipment and software a definite asset
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal English
• Strong decision making ability – shows good judgment and confidence
• Proven ability working with numbers
• Team Player
• Proven to be detail oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient, and diligent in duties and responsibilities
Additional Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
