The Company - A leading financial institution, with a prominent retail banking operation throughout the United Arab Emirates. With more than10, 000 employees globally and branches across the region, with a considerable back office presence and major warehouse/storage facilities that this role will focus on.
The Role - will focus on the physical security of all sites, both in an operational and strategic sense. You will be responsible for developing policy and procedure across the business, streamlining costs, managing the manned guarding and cash movement functions and ensuring that technological advances are embraced wherever appropriate. You will be able to identify security and reputational risks, increase awareness, enhance compliance and develop regional security processes within the business framework.
• Provide authoritative advice to operational on security risk management.
• Coordinate implementation of crisis management capability across the region.
• Implement the group information protection program, in.
• Provide assurance on security risk management in the region, through reviews and audits.
• Represent company interests on national and regional security forums.
• Maintain effective liaison with relevant government agencies, NGOs, law enforcement and industry bodies.
The Person - to be successful in this role, you will have excellent negotiation and change management skills, the ability to conduct security audits/risk assessments, be experienced in the strategic development of security program in line with business needs and well versed in contract management.
It is likely that the successful candidate will have both Middle Eastern experience and a banking background, but if you can demonstrate experience in a multi site, international corporate environment, you may be considered.
