Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Candidate will possess relevant work experience involving assessment, treatment, stabilization, and evacuation of trauma patients. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years relevant experience in medical disciplines. Additional experience and medical related certifications may be substituted for the formal bachelor’s degree. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience operating in a combat environment. SECRET clearance; TS highly desired.
Desired Qualifications/Experience: EMT-P or equivalent experience, experience treating combat type trauma injuries, EMT-P or equivalent training certifications, experience in training or mentoring of personnel and experience training foreign nationals is desired. Former military, federal government or law enforcement medical experience preferred; Special Forces 18D experience (or equivalent) highly desired. Previous experience in Afghanistan and/or Iraq is highly desired.
Must meet minimum physical fitness standards, pass a medical screening/physical, and demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in arduous and remote environments.
