This role will suit a Regular or Late Entry Commissioned Officer Intelligence specialist with a UK Intelligence Services background and recent intelligence gathering and analysis experience in a counter-insurgency environment, preferably in the Pakistan/Afghanistan/Middle East sector and in a strategic level reporting role.
As the Intelligence Officer you will be part of an established HQ team in Kabul and will be responsible for the collation, analysis and reporting of social, political and military intelligence to the operations team and the management structure. This analysis will address issues at both tactical and operational level for specific projects and locations in country as well as the wider strategic geo-political issues that affect corporate business and strategy.
Private sector experience is not a pre-requisite but would be advantageous. Consideration will be given to applicants with sufficient analysis experience from outside the Military Intelligence sector who have a proven track record in a similar position within the private sector.
