Primary Functions:
Provide protective security operations, weapons re-qualification training in overseas locations and to actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission and values.
Job Requirements:
•Must be a U.S. Citizen
•Level 3 English proficiency
•Completed or served at least three (3) years experience in military, law enforcement or executive commercial protection
•One (1) year experience in personal protective assignments
•A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Firearms Instructor
•Provide verifiable evidence of successful training and work experience
•Evidence of formal certification as an instructor in necessary areas, such as firearms, EOD, etc.
•Worked on other U.S., federal, state, or local government training assignments
•Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services
•Required to attend the Basic PSS WPS training course and the equivalent of the DS Basic Field Firearms Officers Course
•Shall maintain weapons qualifications as outlined in this contract, for the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249 and M203, as issued and familiarization fire for the AK47
•Must be at least 21 years of age
•Must have valid, current driver’s license and passport
•In the case of military service, all military discharges must have been under honorable conditions
•No impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy
•Must pass detailed medical evaluation and physical fitness test
•Must be able to qualify and remain current in weapons normally carried by law enforcement officers, e.g., semi-automatic pistol, rifles, sub-machine guns, and shotguns
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance and/or Public Trust Certification
Essential Functions/Duties:
•Primary function is to provide protective security operations
•Secondary function of the PSS/FI is to supervise weapons re-qualification training in overseas locations
•Plan and coordinate weapons re-qualification training
•Ensure that all equipment, weapons, ammunition, and materials are on-hand for training
•Conduct re-qualification firing
•Other administrative tasks as necessary to support range operations
•Designated as support (S)
