Travel Security Services is the joint venture company formed by International SOS and Control Risks that provides information and operational support, traveler tracking, and travel security consulting services to client companies and their staff. These services are provided through the combined capabilities of our centralized 24-hour information and operations teams and dedicated Regional Security Centers based in Singapore, London, Paris and Philadelphia.
Based in London, and collocated with the International SOS Regional Alarm Center, the EMEA/CIS Regional Security Center is the lead team for security assistance operations and travel security consultancy support provided across northern and eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Middle East, eastern and southern Africa.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and resourceful leader to lead the EMEA/CIS Regional Security Center as Regional Security Director.
The Regional Security Director leads a team of security professionals who are responsible for information, operations and consulting disciplines. Key responsibilities for the position include:
– maintaining the quality of advice and assistance services;
– leading emergency assistance and evacuation operations within the region; and
– overseeing the travel the security consulting practice.
The Regional Security Director is responsible for the growth of the security business in the region, driving the achievement of financial objectives through the provision of high-quality services and support to International SOS’s and Control Risks’ sales and marketing efforts.
Ideal candidates will have considerable leadership experience, typically gained through service as an officer in the military, police or a relevant government agency. They will be able to demonstrate experience in the planning and conduct of complex international security operations and will possess considerable knowledge of the geo-political and security climate of countries in the region. Candidates should have experience in security consulting and must be able to demonstrate a track record of success in business development.
