BAT TURKEY IS LOOKING FOR A Risk& Resilience Security Manager to join our team.
Reports to: Cluster Head of Security
Reporting Level: Manage Self

Geographic Scope: Istanbul, Turkey

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Monitor security situation and take proactive measures to minimize security risk to the business commensurate to the security environment in country.
Continuously review, implement, and maintain effective security policy, procedures, and practices to ensure safety and protection of personnel and assets.
Continuously reviewing, updating, implementing, and maintaining ISO 27701 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management System) requirements in line with global and BAT policies and procedures to minimize the Risk and increase the Resilience of BAT Turkey.
Facilitating and coordinating the Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery process to comply with the Business Continuity management.
Providing timely advice based on analysis/ assessment of Security risk / Threat and Impact on the Business to enable well informed Cluster Head of Security in conjunction with risk owners and stakeholders.
Assisting Cluster Head of Security on Information Security, Risk Management with mitigation plans, Fraud and Loss prevention related matters, Incident Management, Corporate Governance, Loss Reporting and compliance with the relevant standards, manuals, and best practices.
Reporting and analyzing of any whistle-blowing matters as directed by Cluster Head of Security.
Conducting timely and efficient investigations including Fraud, Supply Chain investigation to meet evidential standards to reduce potential court cases and compensations through effectively response to any incident.
Assess, evaluate, plan and arrange third party security services. Successful coaching and development of sub-contracted security guards to ensure Manned Guarding Security Service Provider’s contract and service quality meet BAT standards.
Manage and maintain security/security related budgets for Security Department including HQ, Factory and Distribution Centers, by monitoring in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.
Demonstrate ability to explain complicated and technical security issues and concepts in writing, including identification of relevant business consideration for decisions.
Conducting a comprehensive security training programs / induction programs to increase the awareness of the Bat employees.
Ensuring Supply Chain, Cash in Transit operations contract and service quality meet with BAT standards. Advise and proactively complete the risk management to minimize the risk on Supply Chain, Cash in Transit operation.
To monitor the effectiveness of controls over the sale of our own product to ensure that it is not being systematically diverted into illicit channels in either own or other markets.
Continually seek opportunities for innovation and increase efficiency on security system, process, and measures.
Identify and exploit security trends / developments to capitalize security in a cost-effective way.
Maintain effective liaison with relevant external stakeholders especially Law Enforcement Agencies and other government agencies to obtain practical and material assistance for the business.
Maintain close contact / liaison with other security professionals from embassies and international companies.
Provide Security support to international staff/visitors on “in country” security issues in Turkey.
To collaborate with enforcement bodies (police, customs, finance ministry officials, trading standards officers etc.) by providing intelligence and other support to enable enforcement action - raids, confiscations, destructions, prosecutions - to take place.
To collaborate with other companies (including competitors) to fight illicit trade.
To represent the Company, when required, on any trade associations involved in the fight against counterfeit /illicit trade.
Any other security related tasks out of above accountabilities given by the Cluster Head of Security.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE BENEFICIAL
Good understanding of BAT business operating model and process and the key business issues.
10 years total experience in either international or national security includes corporate, private contractor, military, law enforcement, or government intelligence service. Experience will include minimum 2 years as an international level.
Ability to achieve optimal balance between cost and quality.
Strong English skills will be an advantage.
Expertise in security risk management, experience in multinational corporate sector.
Ability to obtain and collate detail on all threats or potential threats to the company. Can identify and address key security issues to support strategic business needs.
Strong knowledge of security strategy and implementing physical security practices and technical security measures to include CCTV, access control and management/monitoring systems. Specialist security certification is preferable ( CPP, PSP, CFE etc.)
Experience in developing policies, protocols, and exercising training to ensure compliance and preparedness.
Can create budgets, business cases to support expenditure & capital project management.
High level of communications skills with ability to explain and defend difficult issues with respect to key decisions/ complex concepts.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment; lead and harness assistance of others
Display a sound and mature judgement/ decision-making ability: Proven track record in providing strategic direction, planning and establishing priorities that ensure an effective work structure which maximizes productivity and achieves goals. Ability to make swift, balanced decisions in emergencies or when rapid response is required.
Strong leadership skills in the management of security operations.
Understanding the issues and the legal framework and be capable of combating illicit trade in a cross functional approach.
Driving license.
University degree coupled with a relevant professional qualification of military/ and/or police institution (staff college/ defence college or equivalent) and formal qualification in security management.

CORE RELATIONSHIP
The Security Risk and Resilience Manager reports to TCNC Cluster Head of Security on the security status and measures.
Other Area, Country, and Central Security Managers for Functional support as directed by TCNC Cluster Security Manager
Establishes and maintains operational/tactical relationships and works closely in partnership Factory Security Executive.
Develop synergy and close working relationship with other functions (Engineering, Production, Quality, Division, Marketing, TM&D, Sales Finance, HR, legal, IDT, AIT and Finance Departments)
Close and effective relations with local Police, Military and other government agencies and Security Managers of other international and local companies in Turkey.
Distributors and other valued Business partners to provide security advice and obtain support for business.
