Your day to day
As a Risk & Security Manager, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of security personnel, coordinating with government and law enforcement agencies, and organizing patrolling of the property to deliver a safe environment to the Guest.
A Risk & Security Manager will also be required to ensure that the hotel is in compliance with all local safety regulations and emergency procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Conducting detailed risk assessments.
• You will be analyzing documents, statistics, reports, and market trends.
• You’ll also be required to assess the organization’s risk management policies and protocols.
• You’ll need to gather information about your client’s outgoings, legal responsibilities, and environmental policies, and then evaluate the effects of any proposed risks against these current processes.
• Maintain good communication and work relationships in all areas of the hotel
• Coordinate additional personnel for the events
• Ensure tours are carried out for the purpose of fire prevention, safe means of escape, and security
• Inquire as necessary into and report upon any thefts within the hotel using your discretion in connection with any of these matters that you deem should be reported to the police
• Ensure the implementation of Company Policies, guides, and matters of mutual interest
• Prepare incident reports
• Liaise with Departmental Heads to ensure hotel colleagues are aware of their security responsibilities
• Plan, deliver, and facilitate regular staff awareness training
• Be fully conversant of company terrorist procedures and convey to colleagues
• Carry out daily and random inspections of all food and beverage handling areas to ensure that correct hygiene standards are being correctly followed and implemented at all times
What we need from you
The ideal candidate must have
3+ years management experience in the same role
strong capabilities in handling multiple tasks & organizing, detail-oriented, and a proven track record.
Must have strong leadership skills, able to motivate and lead colleagues to achieve the department’s vision and measurable goals.
Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Must speak local language
