Location: Kenya

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager Position, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Ensures that the hotel is adequately secured and safe for Colleagues and Guests at all times.
Ensures that the Standard Operating Procedures are updated and communicated under the guidance of the General Manager.
To identify potential safety & security hazards and risks and takes necessary action to eliminate or reduce these.

Ensures that all allegations of crime and other incidents are investigated and recorded according to defined Policies & Procedures and reported to the General Manager.
Ensures that systems are maintained for comprehensive and effective key controls.
Ensure processes are maintained for the safe keeping of Lost Property.
Be familiar with all procedures relating to fire prevention and evacuation and to ensure prompt decision making in line with the safety and security of Guests and Colleagues.
Plans and conducts an evacuation of premises, taking into account the safety of persons when required.
Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Previous leadership experience in a similar role or armed forces required
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications  required
Certification in CPR First Aid required
University/College degree in a related discipline required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
