Executive/VIP Protection Agent

Job Summary:

MVM is seeking Executive Protection Agents to execute Safety & Security objectives as outlined by MVM and our client by controlling the movement of persons into and around multiple facilities and associate areas, maintain designated protective security posts, create complex security plans for events, collaborate w/other Law Enforcement Agencies to secure the safety of fixed assets or personnel.

Job Assignments will include, but are not limited to:

Escort/Personnel Security - Executive Protection Agents are expected to competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client, and actively support the organization’s mission to, “Keep clients safe, happy, and productive”.  This
requires agents to provide foot and/or mobile escort of persons and individuals in public and nonpublic access areas; oversee all aspects of the security needs while ensuring the safety of persons and individuals; work with other Agents in various roles often assisting with Close Protection Details and various responsibilities to ensure the operations are carried out successfully; monitor persons and individuals via video surveillance and provide detailed written reports.

*All the above listed responsibilities often require working in and outdoors, including inclement weather. Agents are responsible for multiple aspects of the jobs described above that require coordination and working independent of others for extended periods of time. Be advised that only agents that show the potential to be able to fulfill multiple aspects of the aforementioned responsibilities will be selected.

Will be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area;
May be required to work overtime with or without advanced notice;
Frequent standing and walking, which may be required for extended periods of time;
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds;
Will be required to use vehicle in the performance of duties;
Will be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others;
May be required to handle sensitive and confidential information
Individuals selected for this position may work alongside Law Enforcement Agencies on a regular basis. All applicable law and requirements for working in accordance with them must be upheld at all times. More explanation can be provided upon request.
During operations, agents will train and operate alongside diplomats, VIP's, and other public figures. This will require individuals to maintain sensitive security information without disclosure to any unauthorized persons. The integrity of this information is extremely important and if breached, is punishable by all applicable state and federal statutes.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

Active in scope Secret clearance
Experience w/high net worth executive protection experience on a global level preferred
Have a current understanding of all local and state use of force laws
Military or law enforcement experience with SRT/SWAT/SF
At least 2 years of executive protection experience including advance planning, surveillance and counter surveillance operations and security driving for high net-worth clients.
Possess a concealed weapon permit in the state of VA, MD, DC and/or have a HR218 card
Defensive driving tactics training/experience (preferred)
Executive Protection Certification (preferred)
Deployment ready within 4-6 hours
24/7 availability to the client (to include holidays)
Ability to travel in the continental U.S. with a short notice
Regular computer usage to create detailed report writing
Possess a valid and current driver license
