Security Investigator , Iraq

Location: Balad Air Base, Iraq

Job Description
The Obtain and analyze information on suspects, crimes, and disturbances in order to solve cases, to identify criminal activity, and to gather information for court cases. The Investigator responds to minor crime scenes 24/7 on Balad air base.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor properties to enforce conformance to establishment rules, and to protect people or property.
Observe and document activities of individuals in order to detect unlawful acts or to obtain evidence for cases, using binoculars and still or video.
Obtain and analyze information on suspects, crimes, and disturbances in order to solve cases, to identify criminal activity, and to gather information for court cases.
Investigate criminal acts and property crimes such as burglaries and vandalism.
Collect and use forensic evidence to solve crimes.
Interview informants, suspects, and witnesses to ascertain alibis, clues, time frames, and possible suspects.
Keep detailed records.
Bag evidence carefully and ensure it gets recorded and secured
Process crime scenes.
File paperwork.
Follow up on leads.
Taking an innovative approach to problem
Prepare investigative reports.
Maintain weapons qualifications for a 9mm handgun and for AK47

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ten (10) years of experience, including one (1) year to include military basic training or successful completion of a US police academy.
Five (5) years of supervising law enforcement personnel.
Three (3) years of criminal investigative duties.
Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities.
