Expediting Supervisor , Iraq

This is a Supervisor position based at the PMO - BEC, Iraq and will report to and take direction from PMO Program Logistics and Property Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for overall material expediting and tracking in accordance with the Property Management and Control Plan (PMCP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. This position is specific to PAE Iraq Projects.

DUTIES:
• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
• Oversees entering Purchase Requisitions in to MAXIMO
• Oversees Diplomatic Note (DIPNOTE) Process
• VAR and PMNOC submissions
• Licenses of vehicle plates
• Oversees Expediters, PR / PO Trackers and Expediting Reports.
• Liaison between GSO Customs/Shipping and PAE
• Training end users on correct procurement processes and procedures
• Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items
• Works closely with Global Supply Chain to ensure deliverables are met and procurement is FAR compliant
• Solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices
• Compliance management (FAR, DFAR, DOS, Audit)
• Integrates multi-national level of effort to provide material to the customer
• Prioritizes level of effort in a fast paced austere environment
• Works closely with Finance, Logistics, Contracts and Materials management to strategically organize procurement by period of performance and task order.
• Uses skills and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes
• Works closely with O&M Trades to prioritize critical requisitions, search Maximo for stock excess in country and reduce costs
• Provides guidance to less experienced team members
• Write or revise SOP’s SOW’s and Policies and Procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIRED:
• Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
o Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
o Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
o Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
o Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
o Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.
• Education: 2 year degree or 5+ years in relevant experience in overseas environment required.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid drivers’ license from Home of Record.
• Security Vetting: Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification or US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.
• Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.
• Citizenship: US Citizenship is not required.
• Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by PAE and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.

DESIRED:
• Previous out of home country experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions are a plus.
• Experience working with PAE.
