Position Overview:
Kiewit is looking for a Bilingual Security Manager for our Kiewit Mexico operations. In this role you will analyze, develop and implement security procedures for project sites, personnel (employee’s) protective and measures/strategies while on duty or traveling. This will include assessment and deployment various security measures to include, cameras, fencing, traffic flow patterns and various other methods of personal/property security.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop security measures and contingent plans for projects sites throughout Mexico
• Oversee and “implements” security-related activities, including construction security planning and monitoring
• Site protection of property and personnel (fixed location)
• Mobility security when property or people are in transit
• Off duty people protection strategies/practices for employees
• Participate in security oversite inspections
• Ensure local, contract Security Company are adhering to the procedures put in place
• Provide project management duties that include administration, managerial oversite, and technical implementation of the Construction Security Plan (CSP)
• Support planning, programming, and budget development, tracking, and financial execution
• Integrate new technologies and upgrades into current and future systems

Requirements:
• 8 years of experience managing physical and personnel security issues at government or commercial facilities
• Knowledge of physical security standards and ability to perform analytical risk management
• Knowledge of building codes, mechanical, electrical and communications systems
• Ability to converse, read, and write clearly and concisely in English and Spanish
• Ability to supervise others and take control in emergencies
• Willingness to live in Mexico for 2+ years with occasional travel to the United States
• Ability to walk, run, jump, crawl, climb steep stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, and work with hands above shoulder level
• Ability to lift and operate up to 50lbs
• Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to receive a Top Secret clearance
• Military experience preferred (Special Forces, Embassy Duty, Developing security for FOB’s or related experience)
• Prior experience in Mexico ideal
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
