£73,128 - £82,728 GBP per annum plus per diem when visiting International locations.**
About the role:
Based from home or from HQ in Manchester, UK, with regular worldwide travel, the Senior Technical Advisor – AMD, will be responsible for ensuring and improving quality, accountability, innovation and learning in the organisation’s AMD technical operations. Reporting to Head of ODT (Operations Development Team), you will work closely with other members of the ODT and HQ programmes team, undertaking monitoring and evaluation missions focused on maximising the efficiency and safety of AMD operations.
The ODT-AMD Team also includes a Regional Construction Manager, a Technical AMD Manager and a Technical AMD Advisor who are all focussed on AMD technical support and innovation across company expanding AMD programmes.

About you:
The successful candidate will have experience of working at a senior level, delivering large multi-funded projects with a focus on designing and managing AMD projects. You must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of a range of AMD approaches including experience in weapons handling and ammunition management in developing countries. You should have a strong working knowledge of IATGs, ISACS and training methods and the ability to undertake quality assurance of AMD activities. You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, working with teams located worldwide, and be confident liaising at an international and senior level.
