Job Description:

Under the business supervision of the Executive Assistant Manager or the Cluster General Manager within the limits of established Ramada Hotel policies & procedures, will be responsible to all aspects of safety, security and regularity on hotel premises. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the brand ethos.

Responsibilities:
•Oversee all security related matters in the hotel
•Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
•Lead Security Team and development of Team Members
•Implement, develop and continue all training on Fire/ Evacuation Response Plan including practical firefighting at Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach and DIP Block (Team Member Accommodation).
•Review, regularly, all policies, systems, and procedures, including emergency drills and bomb procedures
•Implement, develop and continue all training on Outside Threat Response Plans.
•Police all security procedures and policies regarding the Speakeasy Bar and other outlets.
•Provide and educate all security officers on training programs.
•Communicate effectively and efficiently with external agencies including police, fire authorities, and other related services
•Look after all areas from Security Supervisor downwards in the Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Security Umbrella.
•Know thoroughly all Response Plans, Crisis Management Plans and Immediate Actions
•Maintain all Standard Operating and Local Standard Operating Procedures as related to the Security Department.
•Train, further educate and orient all Security Officers under your direct responsibility.
•Impart Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach policies and procedures on all Security Officers.
•Impart the “Code of Ethics” on all security officers.
•Participate in training sessions as provided by Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Human Resources Department.
•Participate in all Occupation Health and Safety (O.H.S.) meetings and be a permanent member of the O.H.S. Team.
•Contribute to improvement and development of the Security Department with written recommendations submitted to the Director of Operations.
•Attend to all areas of the Employment Engagement Survey making sure the standards of the Security Department are upheld.
•Liaise with Government authorities and be familiar with all regulations.
•Control all security shifts professionally and responsibly
•Advise Hotel Management on all security related issues
•You may be asked to accomplish what is requested by the Executive Assistant Manager or the Cluster General Manager.
