Job Description: 
As a member of the Compliance Standards and Evaluations Team and the Country Management staff, the weapons and ammunition custodian shall be responsible for the security, accountability, issue, and receipt of all assigned weapons, equipment and ammunition for the Afghan Special Security Forces (ASSF) training program in Afghanistan. Ensures compliance of all standard operating procedures on a daily basis. Specific tasks include ensuring adherence with all Raytheon policies and procedures for security and safety by all armed trainers. The weapons and ammunition security custodian will be primarily responsible for on-site arms storage and security for one of six main storage locations. Shall assist Compliance Managers in oversight of ASSF trainers in firearm handling and safety procedures. Will prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required. Shall assist in administrative and logistical tasks as assigned by Country Management Team and Program Management. Required Hours: Work may include nights, holidays, and weekends on short notice. Standard will be to conduct training six (6) days per week for up to ten (10) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s) and a standard 40 hour work week while at CONUS work sites. 

Responsibilities: 
Shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations, security, and accountability of all weapons, ammunition, and equipment at assigned location. Shall assist in identification of safety and environmental risks to promote reduction or elimination of potential accidents, occupational injuries, illness, deaths and safety related financial loss. Principal duties include: Ensure implementation of and compliance with all Raytheon SOP and safety directives. Provide written reports for site activities as directed. Provide written reports that are clear, concise, and meaningful for overall site health. Perform administrative and logistical task as assigned. Perform other qualified duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications: 
Candidate shall have a strong background in logistics, asset management and accountability with minimum two (2) years previous firearm and ammunition storage area/facilities experience. Adherence of published Afghan and USFOR-A arming policies and procedures. Must be competent with using Microsoft Office Must be competent with operating Personal Computer (PC) Excellent Interpersonal and People Skills Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Organizational Skills Project Management Ability and Skills Must possess current DoD Secret Security Clearance Must possess a US Passport with at least 6 months of remaining eligibility Must be able to obtain an Afghanistan Visa Physical Requirements/Working Environment Include but are not limited to the wear of body armor and helmet Personal Protective Gear, unassisted lifting and carrying of duffle bags not exceed the weight of 70 lbs per piece, and the unassisted movement over uneven terrain. Must be willing to work and live in Afghanistan with an understanding that there could be further assignments to any location in Afghanistan based upon the needs of the U.S. Government, to include hostile and austere areas. Must be able to attend and pass USG deployment requirements at CONUS Replacement Center (CRC), Fort Bliss, Texas or equivalent location. Must meet the medical requirements for the position being offered as determined by a pre-employment medical screening and in accordance with published CRC and USCENTCOM medical deployment standards. Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to eight (8) hours per day and sit for up to three (3) hours per day. Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs. Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders. Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print. Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear. Employee will be required to work and live in a potentially hostile environment, at remote locations, and under austere conditions. May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, under extreme weather conditions, within a hostile environment. May be exposed to extreme noise from aircraft, hostile fire, and other acts of aggression associated with this region. Contractor personnel shall comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders. All tours are unaccompanied Desired Qualifications: Prefer prior law enforcement or military experience. Required Education: Bachelor's degree from accredited school & four (4) years of related experience, OR two (2) years related experience with Master's degree.
