Site Security Manager , North Mexico

Location: North Mexico

Package in the region of USD 100k plus bonus potential up to 25%. 
Local housing allowance with 10 day on and 10 day off rotation

We are looking for a person that has experience in extractives, open or closed or has been involved in setting up power distribution or infrastructure projects in inhospitable environments within Latin America or at least Mexico. Fluent Spanish and English required.

Job Responsibilities: 
Ensure the safety of the mining infrastructure and employees by building a relationship with the locals and developing controlling.
Implementing and executing the operations security vision, strategy and programs.
Identifying, implement and maintain security processes across the site to reduce risks, respond to incidents, protect reputation and limit exposure to liability in all areas of physical and personal risk for both employees and visitors.
Implement security policies and procedures related to the site to enforce security measures.
Patrol and monitor mining property to protect against theft and vandalism, maintain order resolve conflicts and enforce regulations.
Responsible for access controls to buildings and surrounding areas, issue passes and directs visitors to appropriate areas by foot or vehicle.
Prepare written reports of particular situations, interpret and enforce pertinent laws, rules and regulations.

Job Requirements
This position requires a four year degree in safety, security or related field. ASIS security Certificate is an asset. Experience and training may be used as a substitute for a university degree in some cases.
Alternatively you can demonstrate experience in Military, Police, Government investigations at a senior level or comparable experience in physical security and investigations for a private entity would be preferred.
Experience in performing or managing personal protection activities that involve the protection of government officials or high profile private company executives.
Ability to travel to remote locations and sometimes under austere conditions in the performance of their duties. This includes remaining at the site in Mexico for rotational periods up to 10 days at a time and longer if necessary as required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate in a tactful manner.
Experience in writing clear and concise reports on related compliance and security incidents that is tailored to the audience and experience in creating security policies and procedures.
Must possess and maintain the highest level of integrity.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
