Role overview 
An exciting opportunity has become available for an additional global security officer at VSO.

The post holder will report directly to the a Global Security Director at VSO and will assist in ensuring that all parts of VSO excel in the management of safety and security across the entire portfolio of work.

A significant part of the the portfolio of work is the delivery of the International Citizen Service contract for the UK Department of International Development. This contract works with 18-25 years in group based volunteer placements.

Skills, qualifications and experience required As the successful candidate, you will have a comprehensive understanding of global security management, with strong experience of developing, reviewing and implementing security policies and guidance. You will have a track record of quality compliance and experience in conducting security risk assessments and developing customised security assessment reports. Field experience and experience of working with the target youth demographic would be an advantage. This role will be UK based with regular international travel. Candidates should be able to work flexibly.
