Essential experience and attributesDemonstrable experience in real-time interpreting and written translation between English, Pashto and Dari
Good understanding of the Afghan culture and current affairs
IT competent (including Microsoft Office suite), ECDL preferred
Resident in the UK for 10 years, with 5 years as a UK Passport holder
Desirable additional attributes
Previous experience of working with MoD, CPS, Home Office, Metropolitan Police or similar organisations
Membership of a professional guild or body of linguists
Security Clearance held/pending (US/UK/Aus/Can)
