The Role

The Security Coordinator assists the security manager in overseeing all aspects of the Security Department. He is in charge of developing security measures and assuring the overall security of all members of Agbaou Gold Operations.

Assisting the Security Manager in coordination of security operations as well as managing, training, and assessing performance of the entire security personnel
Writing and developing security policies and procedures
Oversee all necessary training modules and procedures for security staff
Provide protection when necessary
Monitor all unauthorized vandalism and removal of property
Review and report accidents that occur within the vicinity and file reports on security precautions
Manage the schedules of security personnel and attendance

Walk the vicinity to check for possible intruders or interruptions in the security system
Complete paperwork and monitor security cameras inside an office
May also require working on different shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and special events

The Requirements

Able to solve practical problems quickly and efficiently
Able to complete paperwork and reports
Excellent communications skills
Vigilant with all activities happening inside the mine area at all times
Effectively respond to questions and concerns raised by top management, customers and security staff
Possess supervisory and management skills as the Security Coordinator will take the place of the security manager when needed
Must be French speaking
Previous experience in similar roles
Mining Industry experience
