This position is contingent upon contract award
Manages and directs guard operations on a day-to-day basis under direction from DS/RSO
Plans, manages, and evaluates guard force operations
Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders
Coordinates with PRS leadership.
Job Requirements
US citizen/TCN/LN
Valid US issued passport and current driver’s license
Attend and successfully complete required training to include physical fitness and weapon qualifications
Level three (3) English language proficiency
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance/public trust certification as required for the contract
Level three (3) language proficiency of the TCN guard force is preferred
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
(http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/). This requirement may be substituted with an additional
four (4) years of experience as stipulated below
Must possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a military officer or noncommissioned
officer (NCO) (at US E-6 or above or equivalent), or equivalent law enforcement/armed commercial guard
force supervisory experience
Experience must include physical security, access control, and force protection, and must be similar in
complexity and scope to the specific requirements of the task order
Experience may be gained in the employ of any federal, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities
providing armed high threat protective services that require skills similar to those identified in the guard
training course.
