GSA Certified Locksmith - Iraq

Summary:
PAE is currently seeking a GSA Certified Locksmith to support our Iraq programs. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Oversees employees who perform skilled tasks involved in the installation, maintenance and repair of new and existing locks and lock systems that are related to the care and maintenance of facilities.
Plan and sets up lock systems for a variety of new and existing systems, and interact directly with tenants to meet their needs.
Ensure that inventory and bench stock of spare parts for all systems are being maintained.
Address written work orders that may require the interpretation of blue prints and project layouts.
Open locked doors and safes in a manner that requires no repair or allows acceptable local repairs.
Assist in planning, installing, servicing, and maintaining lock systems.
Make emergency repairs to lock systems.
Manually operate a key cutting machine.
Repair, service, and adjust all types of doors, such as hollow metal and aluminum storefront doors.
Service, adjust or replace all types of door closures.

Service, repair, and install exit devices, panic hardware, coordinators, and other door related hardware.
Determine the correct lock system to be installed at a variety of facilities.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizenship is required.
Requires an Active Secret Security clearance, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance, and must maintain Top Secret eligibility throughout employment.
Must complete the favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination.
Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
The ability to write effective instructions for use in technical and non-technical training materials is required.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English with individuals at all levels.
Requires the ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and propose solutions.
Must exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
Requires competent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Proficient organization and time management skills are required.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and details in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Requires extreme flexibility, with the ability to work through stressful situations in a professional manner.
7 or more years of experience as a locksmith is required.
Must have Knowledge of safe opening and repair techniques.
Requires a High school diploma.
Must have or be able to obtain a GSA Safe and Vault Technician Certification.

DESIRED:
Experience in military installations is preferred.
