Location: West Africa
Responsible for risk assessments, protection of people and assets and security incident management for our clients operations in West Africa.
Effectively managing the overall security function (strategic, tactical and operational) and resources at the operation in order to secure company assets, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
Assess risks, threats and vulnerabilities of our clients operations in West Africa.
Provide in loco security assistance during incidents involving clients’ employees and expatriates’ dependents in West Africa.
Organize and carry out the close protection of clients employees in the region
Develop and maintain good relations with local law enforcement and government security services in the locations where client operates.
Maintain an updated list of consultancies and security service providers that may assist the client in the region.
Constantly assess, and help local operations to correct, information security vulnerabilities. .
Carry out security training sessions for client’s employees and dependents when necessary.
Follow and implement the security policies and procedures dictated by the Corporate Security Department.
Ensure that all the security services hired or offered by the client are in accordance with the highest ethical and Human Rights standards.
Requirements: (Qualifications and skills)
Relevant qualification in Security Management
Languages: Fluent in English and French
Previous experience in a similar position on the African continent (preferably on a gold mine)
