A Full-time Security Guard is needed at the British High Commission in Belmopan. The successful applicant will join the security team, working 8 hour day and night shift patterns (42 hour week) and will be responsible for maintaining security and protecting assets at both Office and Residence compounds.

Essential qualifications and experience
Good command of oral and written English
Ability to work in a demanding environment
Ability to work professionally in stressful situations
Ability to work flexibly to meet changing demands
Initiative and good judgement
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
Excellent interpersonal skills
All applicants must have the legal right to live and work in Belize. Must be a resident and have a valid work permit.
Desirable qualifications and experience
Former Non Commissioned Officer (NCO) in the military or Police (or necessary experience to this level)
Knowledge of Spanish would be an asset
Required competencies
Seeing the Big Picture, Changing and Improving, Leading and Communicating, Collaborating and Partnering, Engaging Internationally
