Location: Trinidad & Tobago , Couva/Point Lisas
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the organisation’s internal and external security operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates the work of security providers contracted to the EMBD.
Conducts risk assessments to deal with security threats to all EMBD assets including quarries.
Prepares and disseminates reports related to the work of the security companies.
Receives and monitors all security reports.
Liaises with the Legal Department on existing and pending contractual arrangements with security operators.
Maintains up-to-date records and deals with all relevant paperwork.
Liaises with the Land Administration Department with respect to the monitoring and resolving of land issues.
Supervises and monitors EMBD’s rental sites and ensures compliance.
Performs other duties as may be required from time to time.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability and experience coordinating with Government agencies including Ministry of National Security and the Commissioner of State Lands.
Knowledge of security principles.
Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in current industry best practices.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Excellent supervisory skills.
Superior organisational ability.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
BSc. in Security Management/ Management or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Prior experience protecting State assets.
Any suitable combination of experience and qualifications shall be considered.
