Position Summary
Consistent with Bain’s core values, the mission of the Global Safety and Security team is to enable our teams to work as safely as possible. The Manager, Global Safety & Security will manage a broad range of duties and responsibilities. The Manager will be expect to stand in for the Director as necessary and will leverage their
expertise and experience to be a trusted business advisor.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities & Duties

Assist or lead, (when appropriate) response to active incidents, emergencies or crises
Act as advisor to firm leadership
Provide guidance and lead local teams.
Manage the application of external resources
Conduct after action reviews making recommendations as necessary.
Assist the Director in monitoring, advising, preparing, coordinating internal and external resources and liaising with travelers during and post travel as necessary.
Partner with Training and Meeting Planning teams to mitigate security risks at off-site programs by conducting relevant security advance work, coordinating and managing needed security mitigation resources
Support the thorough review of current Safety and Security related policies, procedures and guidelines identifying and communicating potential revisions as necessary.
Help produce specific safety and security based training educational programs including conducting and managing training table top exercises.
Establish relationships with office security leads in a specific region
Assist with outreach to corporate leadership including, Office Heads, General Counsel, Human Capital, Real Estate, Training, Global Mobility, Travel and CIO.
Deliver specific safety and security initiatives as assigned
Manage external vendors including, analysis of current products, gap analysis, review of new products and incident debriefs, escalating issues as necessary.
Conduct in person or supervise vendor security audits of office security. Identify issues and work with Real Estate as necessary.
Work collaboratively as member of the Global Human Capital team
Partner with client security teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree  with 10+ years of global security management; multi-national experience required; professional services experience highly preferred
Demonstrated experience supporting expansion into new geographies
Security certifications such as CPP or CFE preferred
Ability to function as both a leader, individual contributor and team member
Sound business judgment, with ability to anticipate firm needs and identify and implement practical, realistic solutions
Highly responsive, service oriented individual with ability to flex schedule to support customers in various locations and time zones
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills; ability to effectively advise at all levels of the organization and across inexperienced as well as seasoned travelers; ability to speak multiple languages highly valued
Ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion and professionalism
Ability to travel with short notice and possibly for extended periods of time
Ability to meet deadlines, often within tight timeframes
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
