As the Lead Security Officer – Facilities, you will lead the Passes and Permits Office facilitating the issuance of all QR company identification, and ensuring Airport passes and licenses are applied for in compliance with local regulations. You will manage all security issues relating to corporate offices and accommodation buildings and Qatar Distribution Centre. You will directly assist in major security projects affecting security for Qatar Airways and all subsidiaries. You would be reporting to the Manager Planning and Cyber Security, and be required to report monthly providing statistics and identifying trends.
You will be involved in overseeing the inspection of all QR accommodation and commercial buildings across Doha as well as the physical and electronic security. You will investigate all occurrences and incidents affecting the QR buildings and occupants, respond and report. You will conduct interviews with staff and third party providers; allocate resources to deal with staff complaints and changes in security arrangements. You will liaise with the third party security providers, facilities management, housing and oversee the investigations by the CCTV team. Working with the IT department you will maintain the CCTV system across Doha and back to central CCTV hub.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you will have more than 5 years job-related experience ideally within Aviation Security and Facilities Management. It will be advantageous to hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
You should have experience in supervision of personnel and managing projects with the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. It is essential that you are computer literate with thorough knowledge on MS Office. You should be holding a Qatari Drivers License or successfully obtain one in 60 Days.
It is essential that you have excellent command of English both written and verbal. Although not essential, it is advantageous if you have Arabic language skills.
