Job Description
Global Security and Investigations protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management and alarm response, crisis management, corporate building security and customer/visitor/client safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations on a global basis, and fraud investigations.
This position is located in Buenos Aires with both international and domestic travel.
Manages and directs the day-to-day security operations for all JPMC Latin America security operations.
Manages and directs security operations in Latin America through local security managers located in the region and periodic travel throughout the region.
Functions included, but not limited to, protection of personnel/physical properties/financial assets, crisis management, project management, guard force management, executive protection, travel security, investigations and pre-employment screening.
Coordination with Fraud Investigators required on a periodic basis.
Duties will include liaison with security industry working groups located in Miami as well as local security services, US Embassies and security vendors located throughout Latin America.
Native level fluency in Spanish required. Fluency in English required. Fluency in Portuguese also preferred.
Qualifications
Knowledge of physical and technical security systems including access control and CCTV (specifically GE card access systems and March/NICE digital CCTV.
Ability to carry out site risk assessments and security evaluations. Security technical design and project management
Security Integration of networked platforms
Experience in investigations – both general and fraud
Experience in managing security vendors for both guard forces and physical security
Experience in security pre-employment screening
Knowledge of crisis management operations
Business level fluency in Spanish and English strongly required. Proficiency in Portuguese a plus.
Bachelor’s degree.
10+ years’ experience in security management and investigations
Understanding of computer networks and computer programming concepts a strong plus
