Job Summary

Resolute Support Security Partner (SYP) Advisor advise and mentor the Afghan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF) on Leader Development Mentoring, ANDSF Partnering Mentoring, ANDSF Logistical System Mentoring, ANDSF Training System Mentoring, and ANDSF Personnel System Mentoring.

Principal Accountabilities

Advise and mentor the ANDSF on Leader Development Mentoring, ANDSF Partnering Mentoring, ANDSF Logistical System Mentoring, ANDSF Training System Mentoring, and ANDSF Personnel System Mentoring.
SYP Members shall be co-located with specific command units to facilitate ready management and proper communication between the contractors and the Government.
Serve as the primary interface for Embedded Police Mentors (EPMs).
Develop, brief, & update plans according to mission requirements from the Afghan National Police (ANP) perspective.
Coordinate with Battle Space owners, in order to maintain situational awareness of ANP Pillar requirements for growth and sustainment to assist EF 6.2 Force Employment.
Coordinate with TAACs to maintain situational awareness of requirements for Coalition Forces units partnering with ANDSF forces units and their training.
Execute all other ANP Mentoring Plan requirements as directed by the CJ35.
Provide training support documents for dissemination to Ministerial and Corps advisor teams along with Essential Function teams.
Act as primary SME for all ANP Pillars (ANCOP, AUP, ABP, AACP, ALP, and Enablers) for the SFAC and Resolute Support CJ35.
Conduct coordination with the Deputy Advisor MOI in support of RS Ministerial Development Plan.
Assist the SFAC in planning and executing quarterly assessment conferences between the HQ RS and the Ministry of Interior.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess strong organizational and analytical skills.
Experience & Education

At least seven years of work experience in the subject matter area as either a military officer, or a senior Non- Commissioned Officer, or Civilian Police operations and management.
Must have a final (not interim) SECRET Level Security DoD Clearance before deployment and must maintain that clearance.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment

Must pass all medical and fitness requirements directed by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in order to deploy.
Must be able to operate in harsh and austere conditions of Afghanistan
Travel

Must be capable of daily travel in and around Kabul as well as to locations throughout Afghanistan.
