Job Description
Our client is seeking to fill five vacancies on new and existing contracts in Iraq commencing in September. In outline the role comprises:
Lead and direct the Guard Force
Conduct training to ensure competency in patrolling, access control, communications and firearms.
Ensure compliance with SOPs in line with PSC 1-2012.
Ensure all guards are fully appraised of the threat and incident management
Liaise with the client, client personnel and the first point of contact regarding any issues with the Guard Force.
Manage all of the clients equipment associated with the task
Conduct basic risk assessments from time to time in line with company guidelines
Conduct performance appraisals, identify work-place hazards and report any non-conformities to the company.
Comply with Use of Force (RUF) so all personnel are familiar with procedures and regulations imposed by the host nation.
Qualifications
Must be able to provide solid leadership and command respect
Be firm but eminently approachable
Capable of meeting operational requirements, within budget
Enthusiastic and determined to succeed !
Competent in IT (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
Five years military experience minimum; having achieved at least SNCO level.
Ideally, a minimum one year in the commercial sector such as Oil and Gas
Satisfactory completion of a criminal record check within 12 months.
Completion of a medical examination prior to deployment.
